The game is played in the kingdom, which is based mainly on Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. Mickey Mouse is the protector of the kingdom. After Maleficent casts an evil spell on the kingdom to rid it of all powerful magic, you must help restore it to its original state and create your own park. Sometimes, Merlin (Merlin) will serve as a guide to advance the story.
As they advance through the storyline, players can unlock additional characters and attractions. Players can gain magic and experience by sending characters about quests and missions (and sometimes using tokens to unlock or upgrade characters). Advanced characters and attractions can be unlocked using gems, which can be earned by upgrading characters, completing character collections or checking daily announcements.
The game also features treasure chests that are occasionally hidden in the kingdom, but can also be purchased with gems, which grant different rewards depending on the type of treasure chest (such as attractions, tokens, decorations or concessions). The game also includes Merlin's Shop, in which players can acquire tokens and attractions through Elixir, which are earned by exchanging them for decorations and concessions in Merlin's Cauldron.
