A random letter is extracted and then words starting with that letter are written in the selected category. Among the most used categories we find: personal names, things (objects), cities, verbs, animals, fruits, flowers and plants, colors, singers, nationalities, professions, famous or historical people, etc.
Each player will need a piece of paper on which a grid will be drawn:.
The grid will have as many columns as the selection of the category to be played and a final column for calculating the total number; the number of rows in the grid is not predefined and depends only on the number of games to be played.
